Description: Flywheel-based Inertial Training (FIT) is a novel form of exercise purported to enhance hypertrophy, strength, power, and physical performance more than traditional gravity-dependent exercise. Furthermore, FIT may be modified to provide an aerobic training stimulus. This session will explore the principles of FIT, discuss benefits and limitations of this modality, and provide practical recommendations for implementing this form of exercise.
