Early Bird vs. Night Owl: When Should You Exercise for Weight Management?

1 CEC

Presented by Seth Creasy

Description: People want to know if exercising in the morning versus the evening is better for metabolic health and weight loss. It is important to recognize that the body’s response to exercise is different depending on the time of day. The purpose of this talk is to provide a brief scientific overview of these time dependent differences. We will focus on the impact of exercise timing on metabolism, body composition, food intake, and sleep. Exercise at any time of the day is beneficial, but some people may benefit from a more precise prescription which includes time of day.
