In this session, participants will be challenged to do important introspection exercises that will enable them to identify their optimal internship /career niche. Often, senior-level, undergraduate exercise science students are unaware of the vast range of opportunities available for internships (and employment) until they are forced to select a placement. Examples of traditional and non-traditional internship/ employment agencies will be presented using videos and web links. Sample resumes and cover letters will be made available and on-line tools will be identified that will simplify the internship selection process. Attendees will walk away feeling empowered to pursue the perfect career niche!
