Protein Requirements to Support Post-Exercise Recovery

Using an evidence-based framework, protein recommendations will be provided to support and optimize post-workout recovery as well as total daily intake.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand how exercise effects protein metabolism

  2. How much protein is required to support post-exercise adaptations

  3. How does protein quality and source change the recommendation

  4. Discuss protein requirements to support longer term training adaptations.

This course includes an online video, PowerPoints and a corresponding online quiz.
