Description: COVID-19 has been characterized by a long list of symptoms of varying severity and the potential for these symptoms to linger indefinitely. While exercise has been widely used to bolster one’s health across various conditions, there has understandably been less clarity regarding its application across individuals recovering from a COVID-19 infection. While many individuals are able to quickly return to performing large volumes of activity, a subgroup of individuals continue to experience persistent fatigue, breathlessness, brain fog and exercise malaise which seemingly eliminates the possibility of returning to or adopting an active lifestyle. Although there is still much to learn about effectively individualizing the exercise prescription, this webinar will review current strategies and considerations for prescribing exercise to those in the post COVID-19 infection phase.
