The landscape of obesity treatment has changed with the recent surge of highly effective obesity medications (GLP-1s). While exercise and lifestyle strategies remain the foundation, it is important for exercise professionals and researchers to recognize updates in programming approaches that balance the biological and behavioral needs of the patients/clients seeking obesity treatment. This webinar will highlight the current state of the evidence around the role of exercise and obesity medication and help attendees understand the how we need to reframe our research, applied programs, and environments for patients/clients taking these agents for obesity treatment.
