Description
The Publications Committee provides management and oversight for all ACSM print and digital publishing operations and content projects, serves as the management committee for all ACSM publishing projects and their editorial policies, procedures, and practices, monitors the editorial policies, practices, and finances of all College publications, directs and reviews negotiations and contracts with external publishing houses and recommends appropriate action to the Board of Trustees.
Eligibility
You must be a fellow of the College to be a committee member. The committee has 6 members: The Chairperson and five committee members. One committee member will be appointed from each of the College's major interest areas; i.e., Basic and Applied Science; Medicine; and, Education and Allied Health, one at large member, and one member from the Committee for Certification and Review Boards. Committee members are appointed for three-year terms and can serve up to two consecutive three-year terms.
