Description
Ensures that the College is properly represented in the international community, cultivates relationships with national and international organizations, and administers various international programs including, but not limited to, the International Awards Program and the International Team Physician Course.
Eligibility
The Committee shall consist of no less than five and not more than fifteen individuals, of whom at least three must be Fellows. The appointments shall be made on the basis of expertise required by the duties of the Committee. The President shall appoint the Chairperson for a term of three years, and this person may be reappointed to one additional three-year term. The immediate past Chairperson will serve as an ex-officio, non-voting member for one year. The Chairperson normally will have had a minimum of one year's experience on the Committee. The President shall appoint Committee members for a period of three years, and members may be reappointed to one additional three-year term. Appointments should be scheduled so that 2/3 of the members will have prior experience. New members are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting session as non-voting guests and shall assume membership and voting privileges at the close of the Annual Meeting.
