Description
The Committee shall consist of no less than five and not more than fifteen individuals of whom must be ACSM Members and must have served at least one term as an Interest Group Chair or Co-Chair. The appointments shall be made on the basis of expertise required by the duties of the Committee. The Chair shall be appointed for a three-year term, and may be reappointed to one additional three-year term. The immediate past Chair will serve as an ex-officio non-voting member for one year. The Chair will have had a minimum of one year's experience on the Committee. Committee members will be appointed for a three-year term, and may be reappointed to one additional three-year term. Appointments should be scheduled so that two-thirds of the members will have prior experience. New members are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting session as non-voting guests and shall assume membership and voting privileges at the close of the Annual Meeting.
Eligibility
To serve on this committee one must be an ACSM Member who has served at least one term as an Interest Group Chair or Co-Chair.
