Description
The Communications and Public Information Committee develops informational materials and programs to further the overall goals and mission of the college. The committee also develops and monitors internal and external materials and communications that position ACSM as an authority in the areas of sports medicine and exercise science. The committee reviews the college's public relations projects and news releases generated from scientific findings and provides expertise and advice to communications staff as deemed appropriate.
Eligibility
The committee shall consist of no less than five and not more than fifteen individuals of whom at least three must be Fellows. The appointments are made on the basis of expertise required by the duties of the committee.
