Description
The Awards and Tributes Committee solicits nominations from the membership for recipients of the ACSM Honor Award and the ACSM Citation Awards in order to propose a list of award recipients to the Board of Trustees for their approval. The Awards and Tributes Committee also reviews requests for named lectures for the Annual Meeting, based on the “named lecture” criteria approved by the Board of Trustees. The deliberations of the Awards and Tributes Committee are all confidential.
Eligibility
The Awards and Tributes Committee shall consist of the President, President-elect, Immediate-past president and four Vice Presidents. The President-elect will serve as chairperson and will be responsible to the Board of Trustees of the College.
